Course Information
Various types of documentation are involved in export and import activities, making it crucial to understand the role of each document and its requirements in international trade. The Royal Malaysian Customs, the government agency responsible for the nation's indirect tax policy, plays a vital role in trade and industry.
In Malaysia, the Manufacturing Bonded Warehouse is referred to as a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW), established under the provisions of sections 65/65A of the Customs Act 1967. The LMW was introduced to align with the government's policy aimed at promoting the development of export-oriented industries. It allows manufacturing processes to occur in licensed warehouses with minimal customs procedures.
This course is designed for employees in supply chain and supporting departments who seek to enhance their knowledge and understanding of Customs documentation, rulings, facilities, and LMW concepts.
