The MS 1514 standard specifies requirements for prerequisite programmes covering the primary production to the final consumer, setting out the necessary hygienic and manufacturing conditions for producing food which is safe and suitable for consumption. It lists down a series of requirements to be adhered to by food-related industries that conform to the most basic practices to ensure food safety.
